Stage 6: Bled – Lubnik (54.8km, 1161vm)

The queen stage of this years NYT edition.

This is the big one. The one that climbers will wait entire tour. It is their ultimate chance to win the stage or entire Tour. There is enough steep climbing during this stage they can gain a minute or two. On first sight even more would be possible, but long downhill transfer to last climb will make possible for heavier riders to reduce the gap to climbers during uphill, unless they will be in the group of more than 3 riders and working hard.

Following exhaustive TT day, then the criterum day on Bled, and as the sixt consecutive day of racing, this one might be real challenge for most!

Golden segments

Three timed segments will make this stage only more so demanding. A short KOM segment (1.53km, 79vm) and two sprint segents on 13.0 and 44.0 km, will spice the stage more than chilli can your pizza.
