Categories and start times

Zwiftpower Category
Suggested Category (CE)

ZP Cat A or CE Cat A A 0min
ZP Cat B or CE Cat B B +1min
ZP Cat C or CE Cat C C  +2min
ZP Cat D or CE Cat C D  +2min
New/Returning Riders E  0min

*Riders exceeding W/kg Category Limits will be Upgraded in results
*In order to avoid upgrade during the league we encourage riders with Almost A, B, C at to race in a higher category.

Important note: We are 100% dependent on Zwiftpower monitoring and their statistical service. If you are close to the Category limit, and you are not a very experienced Zwifter or long-time rider familiar with your power output, we recommend choosing a higher Category. It can be heartbreaking if you simply improve during League, with your heart pumping more blood, lungs extracting more Oxygen, and legs pushing pedals stronger and get filtered from results, relegated to a higher Category with a new start from Zero.

Mandatory requirements

Dual Recording or Real Life Effort (Public Strava) is mandatory for Top 3 finishers in A category.
A public dual recording analysis must be uploaded to Zwiftpower within 3 hours of completing the race.
Race organizers may request riders in all categories to provide a dual recording or a matching RL effort (Strava) in order to verify a Zwift race effort. Failure to comply may result in a points penalty or disqualification from the event. Failure to provide a dual recording or RL effort on three requests may result in disqualification from future events, until a dual recording with a matching effort is provided.
