We are sorry for today’s fiasco at Stage 7. Stage 7 should run on the UCI Harrogate Reverse route as announced but Zwift Head Quarters decided to change direction due to Covid-19 prevention measures. Reportedly, there were to infected riders spotted during the week on the Yorkshire course, both riding in Reverse direction. Zwift therefore decided to swap route direction into a safe-uninfected direction.
All the sprint and KOM points remain the same just in the opposite direction. We hope everybody finished the stage safe and uninfected. Keep in mind to sneeze into your elbow, wash your hands, wear the mask when riding on Zwift, avoid any crowded Discord channel, stay healthy and
