➤ General Information

The ZwiftRacing.app Weekend Tour will take place from January 13th to 15th 2023. The Tour consists of 3 Stages, spread out over 3 days.

Registration

Registration closes January 12th 2023. Late entries are only possible if there is enough space in the Category. Sign up at https://www.zwiftracing.app/zr-events

Rider categorization

It’s mandatory for riders to participate in at least 3 Races in the last 90 days to have a correct category.

Pen ZR.app Rating or CS 5min W/kg Floors
A 2000 and above and 5.2 W/kg
B 1700 to 1999 and 4.7 W/kg
C 1350 to 1699 and 4.2 W/kg
D 1000 to 1349 and 3.7 W/kg
E 999 and below  
  • Riders under 50kg will be checked and placed in the correct PEN
  • Women’s 5min W/kg Floors are 0.1 W/kg higher
  • Example 1: Riders ZR.app Rating is 1400 but his 5min W/kg is under 4.2 W/kg. He will be in Pen D
  • Example 2: Riders ZR.app Rating is 1300 but his CS is 1500 and his 5min W/kg is 4.5 W/kg. He will be in Pen C
  • Compound Score (CS) is calculated with 5min W/kg * 5min Watts

Events

The Weekend Tour consists of the following events:

  • Stage 1 – Flat / Sprints (Friday January 13th 19:00 UTC / 20:00 CET)
  • Stage 2 – Flat /Sprints & KOM (Saturday January 14th 16:00 UTC / 17:00 CET)
  • Stage 3 – Mountain / KOMs (Sunday January 15th 16:00 UTC / 17:00 CET)

Events Rules

  • Events will be PRIVATE
  • All stages will see only category riders.
  • No Zpower and HR Monitor
  • Double draft
  • No powerups
  • Zwift Aero Road Bike

Riders will compete in the following classifications:

  • General Classification (Mixed and Women)
  • Team Classification
  • Sprint Classification
  • KOM Classification

Distance: 1 Lap (79.3km – 922m)

Course: London Surrey Hills
Distance: 1 Lap (44.2 km – 1034 m)
Bike: Zwift Aero

  • Leith Hill, see: KOM column CAT 2
  • Keith Hill, see: KOM column CAT 2
  • Fox Hill (Finish), see: KOM column CAT 3

Finish points (FAL):

  • Sprint points will be awarded based on Mountain column KOM

➤ Classifications

General Classification (GC) – Mixed and Women

Each stage will have a stage winner, but the overall winner in the GC is the rider who has taken the least time to complete all stages.

Team Classification

Team Classification is calculated by adding up the top three riders times from each team for each stage, the team with the lowest total time is the winner of the classification.

Sprint Classification

The sprint classification is based on the total amount of sprint points earned in all stages. Points can be earned on intermediate sprints and finish sprints (see points distribution).

KOM Classification

The KOM classification is based on the total amount of KOM points earned in all stages. Points can be earned based on the categorization of each climb (see points distribution).

1.  General

1.1 Event links will be distributed to registered Riders only.

1.2 Riders registration closes January 12th 2023

2.  Classifications

2.1 General classification

2.1.1 A rider will be listed in the general classification if he/she completes all stages.
A rider has to finish a stage in order to start the next stage.

2.1.2 Team Classification is calculated for each category by adding up the top three riders times from each team for each stage, the team with the lowest total time is the winner of the classification.

2.2 Sprint and KOM Classifications

2.2.1 In case of equal points in the point classifications, the rider with the most first places on the KOMs or intermediate sprints, will be placed higher. In case both riders don’t have first places we look at the most second places and so on.

4.  Results

4.1 Results will be shown on zwiftpower.com:

We aim to process all classification results within 3 hours of stage finish. This depends on processing time on zwiftpower.
